2022 St Leo Parish - Feeding the Hungry “Feed my sheep” - John 21:17 As a parish, we will be collecting different food items over the 5 weeks leading to Thanksgiving and distributing food boxes on Saturday, November 19th to help Woodford County families in need prepare a good meal to kick off the holiday season. Last year about 150 families received boxes. In addition to food, you may participate in this ministry by contributing your prayers and cash donations, used to purchase fresh food and meat. Please consider what you can “do without” to make a difference in the lives of those who have so little (checks may be made to St Leo Parish). Thank you in advance for being part of this miracle…and for reaching out to those who are most vulnerable in our midst. Donations may be dropped off in the school office. EACH CHILD THAT PARTICIPATES WILL RECEIVE ONE OUT-OF-UNIFORM PASS! IF YOU KNOW OF A FAMILY IN NEED, PLEASE ASK THEM TO CONTACT THE PARISH OFFICE TO PUT THEIR NAME ON THE LIST FOR A BOX. Week 1 October 16 FLOUR & SALT / Week 2 October 23 CANNED VEGETABLES & FRUIT / Week 3 October 30 SUGAR & DRY BEANS / Week 4 November 6 VEGETABLE OIL & RICE / Week 5 November 13 TORTILLAS & RAMEN NOODLES / If you would like to be involved, please call Olivier Gayou (724-831-4337), Rikki Gayou (724-359-7152), or Ruth Thomson (859-312-8151).
